Hi again! I’m dragoncoder047, currently a college student. I’m not an artist, but I have made some things that could conceptually be called art.

Comics (2024-present)

Every so often I get an idea for a funny comic strip, and then I draw it. The first few here (so far) were all drawn first in pencil, scanned, and then processed in GIMP.

“Install a Python” (2025)

I’m not sure where I got the idea for this one.

“Calculator” (2024)

I drew this during a slow day in AP Calculus BC. My teacher got the joke. I knew he would. You’re a nerd, Mr. Nedwick!

Art Fight (2026-present)

I’m not sure why I joined Art Fight, but here I am.

The character and attack links provided will only work if you’re an Art Fight participant and are logged in. (Art Fight has everything behind a login wall to prevent automated art theft - however I’m not concerned about my art since I explicitly give a license of Creative Commons CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 for all my art. Have fun with it.)

My Characters

The Explorer

The Explorer is the player character of the game I’m making, Aelith. They are a robot primarily designed to perform research of alien lifeforms, but no specific commands were given before the Explorer’s creator disappeared under mysterious circumstances, leading to the events of the game where the player must learn who they are.

NIC

NIC is the loyal companion robot that accompanies the Explorer (above) within the game I’m making, Aelith.

Get ready for the greatest invention ever conceived… the Lith Agent! Equipped with quantum-enhanced AI, this pint-sized powerhouse of a companion robot can listen to your every command and execute it exactly as you need (mostly)! And it can only get better - your Lith Agent will quickly learn your routine and supercharge your day in ways you never knew you needed! Available now, from the Aelith!

Yazani Anura

…You don’t need any images of this guy. They’re already all over this site! Above and below!

Graphic Design Class (2025)

The first two here were made in Adobe Illustrator. I would have rather used Inkscape but alas, it was not installed on the lab computers, and students were not allowed to install new programs (even portable installations) on university devices.

This one was just freehanded in a few minutes as filler for the last page of a page-layout project. I used the comics above on the other pages.

This one was done using the same technique I now use - import one or more reference photographs, trace them, and then delete the reference photos. I think I used four reference images on this one.

These two were made in Adobe Photoshop. I would have rather used GIMP but it was also not installed.

I went to town with the “puppet warp” tool on this one. There was really no other way to do things since the restrictions on this project were that we had to use stock images only and could not use the pen or bucket fill tools.

image

For the one below, I could not find any stock images of a person sitting in the pose I was looking for, so I did the next best thing and took a photo of myself.

Interesting note: I do not own a Playstation Portal nor any other handheld gaming console (Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, etc). In the original photo I used, I was holding a book. But thanks to the magic of image editing you’ll never notice that!
